About Well Nurse Clinic

Martin Forde

Well Nurse Clinic is a tribute to Martin Forde
and his love for helping and empowering others.

Michelle and Joelene have always had a deep commitment to nursing and caring for others.
The decision to create Well Nurse Clinic grew from their experience coordinating and advocating for their late father Martin’s care during his illness (RIP 2021).

Through this deeply personal journey they experienced the healthcare system not only as clinicians, but as daughters. Martin was considered palliative in October 2020. During this time, Michelle and Joelene focused on supporting his comfort, dignity and quality of life alongside medical treatment.

Their approach centred on attentiveness, advocacy, nutrition and holistic support, always working within medical guidance while prioritising Martin as a person, not a prognosis.

What followed was a period of meaningful time with family, presence and independence, lasting several months. Martin remained engaged in daily life until the final weeks, and passed peacefully at home, surrounded by those who loved him.


This experience shaped the values at the heart of Well Nurse Clinic,  a belief in opportunity for all to support wellbeing, respect medical boundaries, and place Health, Nutrition, lifestyle education and quality of life at the centre of every client journey.
